• watching Alex believe in Santa
• sugar cookies (no frosting)
• clean bathrooms
• waiting to see if Mark will hold up his end of the no gift pact
• shopping (for groceries, shoes and houses mostly)
• giving great gifts
• getting great gifts
• late night Dr.Mario wars (especially when I dominate!)
• white elephants and ugly Christmas sweaters
• sister dwelling in the basement
• spending four hours at Target. by myself. with a gift card!
• cookies for Santa and carrots for the flying reindeer
• straight songs on the sacrament menu
• not going to work
• Christmas lights
• Huge icicles
• Drinking straight from the bottle
• mounds of snow
• Christmas music (all year!)
• skiing or sledding
• pictures with Santa. especially if the children are screaming
• shoveling the snow. (only if its optional)
• Christmas movies
• kanoodling
• the excitement on Christmas Eve
• Silent Night and Joy to the World at the Preos
• spending time with friends in town for the holidays
• anonymous acts of service
• change
• generosity to strangers
• midnight mass
• small brother without funds giving gifts to his family
• awkward work gifts
• eating for two!
• reading sisters new blog
• anything sparkly
• my family, my friends, my life
